We are deeply saddened to announce that Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish passed away today.
He was always concerned with the wellbeing of the community in SEKEM, Egypt and the world, striving to contribute to sustainable development for all of us. He inspired so many people with his great vision and has been tremendously brave to start the SEKEM initiative with all of us.
Today, we send out our prayers and are deeply thankful for all he has done for and together with us.
According to islamic traditions, he will be buried tomorrow, Friday the 16. of June at 12:00.
